SUSSEX’S ISW PASSING MASTER LEAD TIGHTENS TO 11 HEADED TO HAUBSTADT

Haubstadt, Indiana (July 31, 2021)………One more race to go. One more chance to shakeup the points of the ProSource Passing Master standings for 2021 USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL on Saturday night, July 31, at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.
With 52 total passes throughout the six nights of ISW contested thus far, Stevie Sussex (Mesa, Arizona) leads the standings by an 11-point margin entering Tri-State Speedway on Saturday evening featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship.
At the conclusion of Indiana Sprint Week, the driver who advances the most total positions from their starting spots in all prelim and feature events throughout the entirety of ISW will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master. Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive feature points toward the passing master total.
Shane Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) remains closest after gaining ground with 10 more passes on Friday at Bloomington to give himself 41 for the entire week, 11 behind Sussex.
Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) and Kokomo ISW opening night winner Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) are tied for third with 39 positions advanced. Friday’s Bloomington ISW victor Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) are knotted up for fifth with 34 passes.
Saturday’s USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL round seventh and final round at Tri-State Speedway features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship competing for a $6,000 top prize. The Midwest Mini Sprint Association is also on the event card.
Adult general admission tickets are $30, students (ages 13-18) $20 & children 12 and under free. Pit passes are $30 for members & $35 for non-members.
Pits open at 3pm (Central), grandstands at 4pm, drivers meeting at 5pm and hot laps at 6pm.
