BACON, GRANT & KTJ SIT DOWN FOR Q & A SATURDAY AT KNOXVILLE

Knoxville, Iowa (July 7, 2021)………USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car stars Brady Bacon, Justin Grant and Kevin Thomas Jr. will join hosts Steve Post and Tony Bokhoven for a Q & A session on the Cemen Tech Entertainment Stage in the Knoxville Raceway Fan Zone prior to this Saturday’s running of the Brandt Professional Agriculture Corn Belt Clash on July 10.
The show will run from 4-4:50pm CDT on the stage located behind the main grandstand toward turn one on the front straightaway of the famed half-mile dirt oval.
Three-time USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car champion and 2019-2020 Corn Belt Clash winner Brady Bacon will be on the stage from 4:05-4:20pm. Reigning USAC Silver Crown champion and 2017 Knoxville USAC Sprint Car winner Justin Grant will be on from 4:20-4:35pm. Knoxville Raceway’s one-lap USAC Sprint Car track record holder, and the most recent series winner, Kevin Thomas Jr. will go from 4:35-4:50pm.
Each driver will be paired with an accompanying winged driver. Terry McCarl and Justin Henderson have already been confirmed for the event along with one more driver yet to be named.
Not soon after, following the Q & A, on-track action begins with engine warm-ups at 6:15pm followed by hot laps, qualifying and the racing program for the $20,000 Corn Belt Clash featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship, the Wholesale Batteries Midwest Wingless Racing Association and the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car Series.
This Saturday night at Knoxville, general admission tickets are $30 at the gate and free for ages 12 and under. Reserved seats are $35 in advance and $10 for ages 12 and under. Tickets are on sale now at www.KnoxvilleRaceway.com.
Pits open at 2pm Central with sign-in at 3:30pm and the draw closing at 5:45pm. The drivers meeting takes place at 6pm with engine warm-up at 6:15pm followed by hot laps.
