LEFFEL GOES BACK TO BACK AT SPEED2 MIDWEST WINTER NATIONALS
Du Quoin, Illinois (February 29, 2020)………For the second consecutive night, Aaron Lefflel of Springfield, Ohio dominated the USAC Midwest Thunder/Engler IMRA SpeeD2 Midwest Winter Nationals, leading all 20 laps of Saturday's feature event at the Southern Illinois Center in Du Quoin.
Leffel, the three-time Midwest Thunder champion, started the feature from the pole position and led every lap en route to the victory. Leffel was followed to the line by Alex Watson, Brandon Smith, Jake Hesson and Will Armitage.
