COURTNEY COVETS CAL SPRINT WEEK LEAD AS CRA HEADS TO CHICO TONIGHT
Three events remain on the 2017 California Sprint Week schedule as it resumes tonight at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico.
Indianapolis, Indiana’s Tyler Courtney vaulted into the California Sprint Week lead by virtue of his victory Monday night at Petaluma. Cullman, Alabama’s Kevin Thomas, Jr. (5th in points) won the opening night at Calistoga Speedway’s “Louie Vermeil Classic” last Saturday while Rico Abreu captured Sunday night’s feature at Calistoga and is 7th in points.
Remaining events on the California Sprint Week tour include tonight (Thursday night) at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Friday night, September 8 at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville and Saturday night, September 9 at Keller Auto Speedway at Kings Fairgrounds in Hanford.
