PAVEMENT MIDGETS HEAD FOR GRUNDY COUNTY SATURDAY;

4 SERIES RACES REMAIN ON 2014 CALENDAR

Tracy Hines of New Castle, Ind. leads the USAC Pavement Midget standings entering next Saturday night’s event at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. The race is one of four remaining for the pavement Midgets in 2014.

Following Saturday’s (Aug. 9) race, events are scheduled August 16 at Kalamazoo (Mich.) Motor Speedway, September 6 at Anderson (Ind.) Motor Speedway and the finale is September 13 at Columbus (Ohio) Motor Speedway.

Hines captured the opening race in the 2014 series, the “Night Before the 500” classic at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Ind. His point lead over Kyle O’Gara stands at five points, with Derek Bischak 10 points behind the leader.
