GRANT POSSESSES PASSING MASTER LEAD ENERTING SWEET SPRINGS

Speedway, Indiana (September 6, 2022)………Justin Grant retains control of the yearlong USAC ProSource Passing Master standings with 123 total positions advanced thus far in feature events throughout the 2022 USAC national season entering the month of September.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has posted a $2,500 reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who advances the most positions during feature events throughout the entirety of USAC’s 2022 national season, which encompasses Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget racing.

The top-three of Grant, Thomas Meseraull and Brady Bacon have separated themselves from the rest of the pack in terms of the Passing Master title fight.  Grant’s 123 resides 11 ahead of the 112 positions advanced by Meseraull (San Jose, Calif.).  Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.), meanwhile, is 19 out of the lead with 104.

Grant is the defending champion of the Passing Master award in 2021 while Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) won the inaugural edition in 2020.

The USAC National season resumes this Friday and Saturday night, September 9-10, with the NOS Energy Drink National Midgets at Missouri’s Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.

The John Hinck Championship Presented by Dahmer Powertrain at Sweet Springs features the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, Velox Racing Outlaw Non-Wing Micros and Engler Machine Restricted Micros

Both nights, pit pass sales begin at 3pm Central with the pits cleared at 4pm, front gates opening at 5pm, the drivers meeting taking place at 5:30pm, engine heat at 6pm followed by hot laps, qualifying and racing.

On Friday, general admission tickets are $25 while children age 12 and under free.  Pit passes are $35.  Tickets will be available at the gate on both race days.

On Saturday, general admission tickets are $30 while children age 12 and under free.  Pit passes are $40.  Tickets will be available at the gate on both race days.
