LAMB WINS EASTERN MIDGET OPENER AT DILLON

Dillon, South Carolina (April 9, 2022)………Chris Lamb concluded last year’s point season as a winner at South Carolina’s Dillon Motor Speedway.  He opened 2022 the same exact way, capturing victory during Saturday’s USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget opener.

Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) worked his way to the lead with just five laps remaining to score the triumph, the 56th of his USAC career.  Eric Lewis (Syracuse, N.Y.) led the first 30 circuits around the 4/10-mile asphalt oval before finishing second.  A.J. Sanders (Mocksville, N.C.) took third with Logan Sulyi (Raleigh, N.C.) and Dillon Thomas (Clover, S.C.) rounding out the top-five.
